TF Roundup

Okay, so keeping things updated is harder than I thought O_O
Life, crazy busy life. I finally pushed out the update to Shadowlord Inc. today but it'll take a bit for me to get another one up. However, I can put up my order now:
Shadowlord Inc.
Today's entry comes from an email I received. Shadowlord Inc. has been around the community for awhile and has been gradually accumulating the motherload of video and various other media based tf's. Dragonaide took over the maintenance of the site a few years ago and we usually get an update every few months.
Site navigation is fairly simple, choose shows and start diving in. The sheer volume of this site is amazing. There are two major categories that everything is split into, transformations and scenes. I also like the nice tidbits you get around the site by mousing over specific areas, things like how many scenes are in an area, clips, last updated, etc. Having a login also helps in that you can download videos.
The site is very animation heavy and it tends to take a 'everything plus the kitchen sink' approach to posting so finding the odd diamond in the rough can be difficult. That said, there are scenes and tf's on Shadowlord that I've never seen anywhere else and it's nice to have that variety out there.
Finally, some improvements that would be awesome would be filling out of the other sections. If Dragonaide could do for the books and comics sections what he's done for shows it would be awesome mainly because there really isn't another repository of that nature (that I'm aware of). Also the art's section is a bit sparse, but you will find artist there you won't elsewhere.
Check it out, you'll be glad you did! http://www.shadowlordinc.com/

Updates
Just as a note I will be updating this blog usually on the weekends with at least 2 entries per day, one to a 'popular site' and one to a lesser known site/artist. Again, if you have any recommendations or sites you'd like me to review feel free to comment or you can send me an email to tx.guy1981@gmail.com.
Tumblr: Yachirobi
From time to time I will highlight a specific artist/story writer. For this entry it's Yachirobi. Now, his Tumblr isn't specifically TF, in fact you kind of have to search for the TF's he calls, 'inbetweeners' and they are more stories than anything else; however, the ones he has are hot as hell, plus I have a weakness for muscle growth which is hard to find.

TF Dimension
In the early days of the internet, i.e. the late 90's, there was a site call the Transformation Art Archive. This was the site to go to as it was the first place that I can remember having TF video's (albeit quick 10 sec quicktime clips).
TF Dimension is a modern day TF Clip archive. It's not the only site on the net, but it's probably the best for diversity and sheer number of TF's that you can find. In fact they are so diverse that they can be a little....odd/disturbing, and this is coming from someone who is pretty open minded on his TF's.
For new users there is a lot of material and for returning users Dutch Bull updates on a fairly regular basis with a large upload every 2-3 months.
Oh and as a tip for surfing, don't use the "TF Video Clips" menu, use the Site Map, much easier to use.

Male Transformations
I got the idea to create this blog because of Male Transformations. I was randomly surfing the web when I came across this little gem and was shocked that I hadn't found it listed anywhere. Since that time I've seen it pop-up in various linking's, but I still feel like it is a lesser known entity in the TF World.
Apuleius has created a nice, clean site linking to various Male Transformation media. He also links and highlights artists that he finds interesting and cool to follow. The really awesome thing is that he finds stuff that is somewhat esoteric at times and usually you can't find it anywhere else. About the only complaint I have is that he only updates sporatically, but when he does you always know it's going to be good.
Highly recommend to check out: http://maletf.blogspot.com/

TF Spot
So for my first post I'm going to talk about our the newest addition to the TF community, TF Spot, or at least this incarnation of it.
TF Spot has been around in some form or another for the last few years and caters to photo-manipulation tf's but just as it's gotten established, server crashes, fees, and personal issues have brought site after site down. Now this latest incarnation has been set up in SocialParody, allowing them to post adult related materials and have a social structure built in, something the others had attempted, but not quite managed to pull off.
Overall the site is stable and runs well. The lag/downtime that has been associated with TF Spot's in the past has been greatly reduced. In my opinion Opeliz has done a great job in pulling the site along after the collapse a few months ago.
That said, it's still a young site. Finding updated images is problematic (although this has been addressed recently) and the chat does tend to pop and crash on my computer. Also, I have a personal preference for stories along with photo's, something which has been harder to find since the switch happened.
Still none of that should keep you from checking it out and signing up. I think with community growth it has the potential to become the site for photo-manipulated TF's and with the management of this one making a very public commitment to it's well-being I think it'll be around for awhile.
